Abbe provides accounting, tax, estate planning and other business advisory services to a wide range of owner-managed businesses and their shareholders. Her clients are varied and include businesses in the wholesale and retail trades, holding companies, service companies, not-for-profit organizations and professionals. Abbe also has a significant number of tax clients for whom she prepares personal, trust and estate returns. In addition, Abbe mentors the firm's chartered accountant students and is a liaison with the CA School of Business.
Abbe is approachable, reliable and accessible. Developing strong and enduring client relationships based on open communication and good service is very important to her. She is dedicated to providing great service to all her clients and often acts as a sounding board to assist them in making business decisions.
A long-standing member of Manning Elliott's team, Abbe joined our organization over 25 years ago after working as a CA with a major international accounting firm. She graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and obtained her CA designation in 1981. Prior to becoming a partner in 2011, Abbe was a principal with the firm.
Abbe enjoys travelling, cooking and spending time with family. Even though her three sons are all adults, she can still be seen cheering for them on the soccer field.
