Berni has a private company practice with an emphasis on consulting, reorganization and estate and succession planning. Using his tax background, Berni is focused on developing and implementing tax effective accounting strategies for his clients.
Berni joined the Manning Elliott team in 1972 and became a partner in 1974. Prior to that time, he articled with a national accounting firm in Vancouver. Berni graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in 1967 and received his CA designation in 1971.
With many years of experience in diverse business situations, a tax specialty, and hands-on experience in general practice, Berni takes a creative approach to problem solving and provides helpful solutions to client issues. His commitment to excellence ensures clients that their service delivery will exceed expectations.
Berni likes to spend quality time with family and friends over good food and a glass of red wine. He also enjoys snow skiing and vacationing in tropical locations.
