Keith has extensive tax, accounting and auditing experience in three of our major practice areas: private companies, not-for-profit organizations and estate and succession planning. He enjoys providing organizations with sound tax strategies and business advice.
As co-chair of Manning Elliott's Professional Development Committee, Keith helps ensure that our staff members' knowledge is current and that they are equipped to meet the evolving needs of our clients.
Keith joined Manning Elliott in 1982 after moving from South Africa where he trained with a large accounting firm, followed by a year with a major oil company. He earned a Commerce degree from the University of South Africa in 1980 and received his CA designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC in 1987. From 1990 to 2007 he served as both member and chair of the Professional Development Committee of the Institute.
An advocate for the arts, Keith is a director of Axis Theatre and past treasurer of the Sabres Music Association. Playing the guitar is one of his hobbies and he is a collector of jazz, rock and pop music. Keith's main sporting interest is soccer and he has been a faithful Chelsea fan since 1967. He also enjoys cooking, travelling, golf and time with his wife and three children.
