Lisa advises professionals and owner-managed businesses on tax and financial matters including corporate structure, income tax minimization and family trust and estate planning. Some of her industry specialties include professionals, retail, manufacturing and investment and family holding companies.
Lisa offers a wide variety of services to clients. These include tax and financial reporting services and being a sounding board for clients who are managing and changing their businesses. Lisa takes pride in providing professional advice with attention to detail. She believes that quick response and accessibility is of the utmost importance in maintaining solid relationships with clients and contacts.
Before obtaining her Chartered Accountant designation in 1996, Lisa worked for Manning Elliott for several years, becoming a partner of the firm in 2000.
Lisa is the treasurer of a not-for-profit organization called Endeavour for the Benefit of the Arts, Sciences and Health. She is also involved with the Women's Leadership Group for Manning Elliott's international affiliate, IGAF Worldwide. And, Lisa is a past member of the Canadian Tax Foundation and Association for Women in Finance.
A native to North Vancouver, Lisa spends time with her family and takes advantage of the hiking, cycling and skiing the area offers. She also likes Vancouver Island and has explored BC through hiking the West Coast Trail, Queen Charlotte Islands and Cape Scott Park.
