Matthew specializes in delivering assurance, accounting, tax and business advisory services to private companies, individuals and trusts. He has experience in a range of industries including real estate, manufacturing, wholesale, retail and software development. His work also focuses on serving professionals, especially doctors and dentists.
His fluency in both Cantonese and Mandarin makes Matthew an important member of Manning Elliott’s China Specialty Practice. He actively travels to both China and Hong Kong to develop key contacts that will cultivate this major practice area.
Matthew believes it's important to earn the loyalty of one’s clients. That is why developing and maintaining long-term client relationships, built on trust and professional care, is such a priority for him.
Matthew joined Manning Elliott in 1997 after obtaining his BBA degree from Simon Fraser University in 1994. He completed the Certified General Accountant program in 1999 and went on to receive his Chartered Accountant designation in 2003.
In his free time, Matthew enjoys reading, travelling, golf, tennis and badminton.
