Bruce provides a broad range of accounting and advisory services primarily to owner-managed companies, individuals, and not-for-profit organizations.  His extensive expertise extends from financial planning, assurance and compliance, to business succession and estate planning.

Bruce has been with Manning Elliott since August 2014.  Prior to joining our team, he served as a partner for NTA Chartered Accountants, before the firms’ merger with Manning Elliott.  Throughout his career, which spans over 34 years, he’s worked with a diverse clientele in a range of industries from manufacturing, wholesale, and retail, to co-operative housing, and labour associations, as well as incorporated professionals such as doctors, lawyers, and property developers.

A graduate from the University of British Columbia, Bruce received his Bachelor of Commerce in 1978 before obtaining his CA designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia in 1980.

He has served as Chairman on the bylaws committee for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia as well as treasurer for various fundraising initiatives for provincial and national ski associations.

Bruce has always been a huge proponent of providing his clients with practical personalized solutions in a timely and efficient manner.  His commitment and dedication to his clients has always been one of his main priorities throughout his career.  Clients appreciate Bruce’s honesty and guidance when helping them make strategic business decisions.

When away from the office, Bruce enjoys spending a considerable amount of time at his home on the sunshine coast and travelling to new destinations.  He also enjoys hitting the links to play a few rounds of golf as well as spend time with his family and grandchildren.
