Raymond has extensive public practice experience in providing assurance services to public companies, mainly in the manufacturing and resource industries. He also provides tax compliance services to private company clients.
Raymond is a member of Manning Elliott's China Specialty Practice and works with China-based companies listed in, or in the process of becoming listed in, Canadian stock markets. His particular strength is in ascertaining the needs of his clients and then using his expertise to deliver effective solutions to their often complicated business issues.
Prior to joining Manning Elliott as a manager in 2007, Raymond worked for both medium-sized and national accounting firms. In addition, before starting his public practice in 1996, he was the chief financial officer of a private company based in Hong Kong.
Raymond obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1999 and has a Bachelor degree (with honours) in Accountancy.
He is married with two children and enjoys spending time with his family. He also actively participates in the activities of his church.
