In-House Recruitment Specialist

Purpose of Role:
  • Attract and hire top talent in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner while promoting diverse & inclusive hiring practices.

Reports to:
  • Director of Human Resources & Operations and Manager, Human Resources

Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Personal Attributes:
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma preferably in a Business discipline
  • 2-3 years recruiting experience, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment. Recruiting experience in a professional services environment considered an asset
  • People-centred and passionate about creating a diverse, inclusive, and belonging culture
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with the ability to work in a changing environment
  • Highly motivated with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to work with people who have a diverse range of skills, styles, and approaches
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills, including written and verbal
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for all service lines/ office locations, including reference checks and offer management
  • Proactively source and pipeline candidates through a variety of social networks, job boards, databases, and recruitment events
  • Conduct candidate pre-screen interviews and make recommendations
  • Conduct intake meetings with Leaders to determine recruitment strategy
  • Provide regular communication and updates to Leaders
  • Review job descriptions before posting job advertisements
  • Identify and partner with external recruiters as required to ensure hiring needs are met
  • Act as a brand ambassador for ME to ensure an excellent candidate experience
  • Actively supports, participates and organizes firm wide initiatives
  • Maintains team member’s confidentiality
  • Promotes the firm’s Quality Control Standards
