Andrew specializes in the  valuation of public and private companies in the context of matrimonial and shareholder disputes, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and estate planning.

About Andrew

Andrew has valued companies in a wide variety of industries including e-commerce, manufacturing, transportation, retail, wholesale, hospitality, real estate and energy services.

In addition, Andrew provides various litigation and forensic services, including the quantification of economic losses and the determination of income available for child and spousal support purposes.

Prior to joining Manning Elliott LLP, Andrew was employed by a national accounting firm as well as a local boutique business valuations firm where he was responsible for providing valuation, forensic and dispute related services.

Andrew has provided accounting and business valuation lectures to a variety of local business groups and law firms, including to The Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia.

Andrew co-authored the course notes for the 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 Lawyers’ Use of Financial Statements, published by the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia.

Education

Andrew has been a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants since 2010. In addition, Andrew obtained his Chartered Business Valuator designation in 2015 from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators, and was a silver medalist on the 2015 CBV national exam.
