Harvey provides accounting, taxation and business advisory services, primarily to owner-managed private companies and NPOs.
His clients range from incorporated professionals such as doctors, lawyers, engineers and architects to business professionals working in an array of diverse industry sectors.
Harvey has been with Manning Elliott since January 2013. Throughout his career, which spans over 25 years, he’s been a big proponent of providing the best possible client experience. Harvey believes in working with clients to provide solutions beyond their accounting needs. His commitment to personalized service and client satisfaction make him a consummate professional.
Harvey currently serves as the treasurer for the New Chelsea Society and has served as treasurer for the Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation and the Surrey Foundation in the past. He has also taught part-time at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
A native of Vancouver, Harvey enjoys various outdoor activities such as golfing and jogging through the many parks and trails of Greater Vancouver. As an avid reader, Harvey also enjoys reading about world history.
Harvey has been a designated accountant since 1989 when he obtained his CGA designation. By 1999, he had also attained his CPA, CA designation.
Prior to joining Manning Elliott, Harvey was a partner for a mid-sized accounting firm located in the Fraser Valley. He has completed the CPA In-Depth Tax Program including the Advanced Tax Issues for the Owner-Managed Business course.
