Ron specializes in providing income tax and business advisory services to owner-managed businesses. His specialities include tax planning and compliance, advising on structuring the purchase and sale of businesses, estate planning, and developing tax-efficient partnership structures.
He seeks to understand the client’s short and long-term financial goals and then provide a corporate structure that will minimize current and future income tax.
Ron left a national accounting firm in 1991 to establish a new accounting firm. In 2018, Ron merged his practice and became a Partner at Manning Elliott LLP.
Ron has served as a Director of the Richmond Society for Community Living and the Surrey Foundation (Surrey Cares). He has also volunteered at hot lunch programs for the homeless and at the Surrey Food Bank.
His hobbies include skiing, gardening, walking, travelling and photography.
His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science (Biology/Kinesiology) from Simon Fraser University. He received his CPA designation in 1982 followed by the CICA In-depth tax course.
